Welp. I guess I'll have more free time once I finish the last of my projects and essays for the semester.
It's a long story. I'd rather not post it up publicly because who knows who'll see what on the internet? Suffice it to say it wasn't really my fault, just a host of badly timed changes falling into our laps and the decision that while my talents helped the museum a lot last year when things were doing okay, I'm not what it needs now that the roof caved in on our heads.
Still got a week or so left of classes, but maybe once that's done I'll have some time to actually post up some art. That'd be nice.

Life Update

So just to give ya'll a heads up!
I'm... a tiiiny bit drowning in stress, to say the least. Not saying that because I'm trying to baw for sympathy, just that it's a fact. Up until now I've been trying to get work experience while working on my master's degree, so I could get a job with which I could feasibly support myself (my current position wasn't really hacking it). My parents have been helping to support me while I do that. Unfortunately, that's not going be able to fly anymore. My two sisters are both moving out of the house so they can go to college, and my parents are going to be helping to pay their expenses. My parents are also moving for my dad's new job. Suffice it to say they can't support three households at once and pay to move, so I'm getting cut off. Which is completely fair, I'm twenty-four years old and by all rights I should be supporting myself by this point but... the fact that this was happening got sprung on me very suddenly, so I'm suddenly being faced with a very, very critical time crunch.
Basically what has to happen is this- the museum where I work has to give me more hours and a raise, so I can move out of the house I've been living in and support myself in an apartment. If that works out, great so long as I can sell my house in a timely fashion (always the kicker). If I can't wiggle the raise out of them, though, I'm going to have to move in with my two sisters in a completely different city. So that's fun! Oh, and while I'm trying to get my house ready to sell, I still have to juggle my job and four master classes at once. But hey, who needs sleep, am I right?
Joys of being a grown up. You work late on your birthday, you have to pay your own bills, and no matter how many times you insist to your brain that you can only do as much at one time as you are capable of, it will insist on screaming at you with a laundry list of all the things you still need to do but haven't yet.
So what are ya'll up to?

Welp, I'm doing it again! For those of you who weren't around last year, here's the gist; in the spirit of the season of giving, I've decided to open up special Under the Mistletoe Requests. Each person who asks will get one character of theirs drawn by me. But not just any drawing- the character will be drawn under the mistletoe with a random character from one of the other requesters! I will leave the requests open until 12:00 PM noon EST on December 23, and post the compilation of the drawings on Christmas Day. Last year I limited it to people who were watching me before I posted the opening, but this year I'll tentatively remove that restriction and leave the requests open to anyone who'd like one!
You can if you wish specify how far you are willing for your character to go, under one of three categories, or you can leave it up to me to decide. The categories are-
1) No Kiss- Your character is under the mistletoe and looking profoundly embarrassed, but refuses to play along and actually kiss their partner.
2) Cute Kiss- A peck on the cheek or touching noses, simple and innocent.
3) Romantic Kiss- A full mouthed kiss.
There are no limitations here insofar as species goes, I'll draw anthros, humans, or quadrupedal animals. Have at thee! The only restriction I'm putting on characters is that you need a visual reference. A description is not enough, sorry. When finished they'll look more or less the same as the picture above. Remember that the person/critter your character ends up kissing will be entirely random. Because that's half the fun.

Also there is an elective option for my degree called "Wikipedia and Information Management" which I find kind of hilarious. I didn't register for it because my schedule doesn't have room, but if it's available another semester I might.

I am sad and bored and lonely. Anybody wanna trade with me?
My half will probably be all or mostly in cute sleeping poses, because I feel like drawing those at present. But if I'm particularly inspired, who knows what might happen?
I'm willing to do sketch trades, flat color trades, or full shade trades. I'm in the mood for drawing anthros or critters, but I may be coerced into drawn a hoomun if you really want me too. Just no dogs please. I'm boooored of drawing dogs.
As for my characters, you can pick from this folder in my gallery. Unless you really don't want to pick, then I'll chose for you.
