Void Reference -UPDATED-

This is the final update for Void; this will be his permanent design. I decided to put it up on a new deviation because of the utter lack of anything resembling organization on the artist description of his old one, and for the sake of people still cameoing his old look in round four. Some things in the information have been added and changed to match the changes that have come to him since the audition. (Although most of the changes are irrelevant since he's not a fighter anymore. )

Stage Name: Swift Step
Age: About six in human years. For a member of his species this is like being in the late twenties.
Gender: Male
Species: Gemeldon-Liche
Act/Talent: Tumbler, gymnast
Abilities: He has the skill equal to a professional gymnast. This is mainly used for dodging his opponent’s attacks and moving around. His main offensive weapon is his tail, which he can stretch to as long as seven feet. The fur on his tail can be hardened at will, forming a rounded club or pointed spear depending on what sort of attack he wants to use at the given moment. He can also use his claws and fangs, although he doesn’t get that close to an opponent if he can avoid it.
Strengths:
-He is agile
-Fast once he gets going
-Because he is a liche, he is invulnerable to some methods of killing like drowning, starving, or strangulation, since his body is basically a golem that isn’t really “alive.” (It should be noted that unlike most liches, who’s souls are whole, Void’s is very weak and fragmented. This means that while other liches are effectively immortal unless you destroy their soul stone, Void cannot maintain a connection to his body if it is damaged to the point that it would normally die; beheading, blood loss, ect. It’s only maintenance type deaths like not breathing or not eating that he’s immune to.)
Weaknesses:
-He isn’t at all strong physically.
-If he becomes too overheated he will become dizzy and light-headed.
-Because his soul is not housed in his body, his reaction times are slow and he can occasionally have trouble manipulating it to do complicated maneuvers when rushed or stressed.
-His soul is housed in a gemstone that Crooked, the concessioner, wears on a ribbon around his neck. If the soul-stone is taken from Crooked or smashed, or if Void’s own collar is take or the stone smashed, the spell that animates his corpse will dissolve and he will die.
-Because his soul is not firmly anchored to his body, pain makes it difficult for him to maintain the connection and causes him to be even slower in his reactions and stilted in his movements.
Personality: Since being released from the control of the dark spirit Revenant, Void is somewhat calmer but still very timid and easy to cow. He dislikes confrontation and would rather run away from a conflict than fight back. He still carries a great deal of guilt for the crimes he committed under Revenant’s control and becomes very depressed whenever they are brought up. Void has a deep fondness for children, no matter what the species.

Likes: Sleeping, remembering things, finally being free, children, resting on Crooked’s fluffy tail, listening to Nim’s cheerful banter, sharing meals with Nicolai.
Dislikes: Forgetting things, hurting others, big or scary creatures, being reminded of the atrocities he committed under Revenant’s control.
Other: Void suffers from a speech defect that gives him a pronounced stutter. He also has broken English, as it is his second language (his first being Romanian.) Void has been at the Tapestry long enough to have gotten to know several of the competitors, personally or otherwise, and has gotten over being petrified of anyone and everyone. He tends to assign them to four groups; Friend, Safe, and Scary, and Unknown. Friends are anyone he actively trusts and would be willing to go to for protection, safe characters are those who he knows won’t hurt him but doesn’t know well enough to feel comfortable depending on them, scary characters are those he is actively afraid of, and unknowns are those who he doesn’t know well enough to judge or has never met (he’ll be afraid of Unknowns by default).
