Suffers from a stomach condition that causes her to vomit frequently.
Suffers from chronic ear infections. These cause pain in her ears, headache, diminished hearing, and in particularly bad cases can induce a fever (which of course means lethargy, weakness, muscle aches, dehydration, and all that other fun stuff that comes of your body temperature being too high.)

Personality: Chewy is generally very polite and friendly. Though in her younger days she had something of a temper and a dominant streak, a year living on her own as a stray has mostly ironed that out. These days she's fairly relaxed and tries to be helpful and non-judgmental. She still carries that a naive, youthful innocence however, and this often leads her to be overly forgiving and determined to see the best in people even if their intentions are obviously otherwise.

History: Chewy was born an identical twin; her sister, Munch, looked and sounded exactly like her. Even their scents were almost identical. Only the twins' father and mother, the leaders of the pack, could tell them apart. Chewy, as the oldest, was being groomed to eventually take over the leadership. She was taught about diplomacy, leadership, protection, loyalty, justice, and so forth, and absorbed the lessons with gusto. However, Munch secretly had a one-night stand with a stray that resulted in her getting pregnant. According tot he pack laws, only the leaders or their chosen successor were allowed to have pups, so Munch's pups would have been killed as soon as they were born. Neither Munch nor the twins parents wanted to have to kill her pups, but they knew the pack would never tolerate an exception being made for the leader's descendants when the law had been enforced for unrelated females before. With the reluctant agreement of their parents, Munch and Chewy decided to pull a twin-switch. Munch would pretend to be Chewy, so that when the pack found out about her pregnancy she wouldn't have to leave, and Chewy would pretend to be Munch. They knew that they couldn't maintain this charade long term, however. To protect their secret, Chewy elected to leave the pack and strike out on her own.

For a time Chewy lived in the Shattered Wall area north of the city, but she was driven southward when the Redwood Brotherhood moved into that territory and forced out all of the local strays. Though for a time she lingered nearby, trying to provoke the Brotherhood by throwing fish carcasses that she had scent-marked over their border, eventually she was attacked and soundly thrashed by the stray Goose. Deciding it was better for her safety to move on (after all if she couldn't defeat one stray she had no chance with an entire pack) she traveled to the southern parts of the city, where she lived and learned from the locals for two years.

Eventually Chewy met a dog named Noble, who surprised her with his charming personality and kind heart. She warmed up to the stranger almost immediately, and when he invited her to accompany him and his friend Loktionov in their quest to help promote peace and justice in Athens, she happily accepted. For the first time since she was a yearling, Chewy was finally in a pack again.

Likes:
Swimming, she is a very powerful swimmer.
Fighting, although at present she isn't very good at it.
Deer meat. It is her favorite.
Dislikes:
Her youth being called out.
The Redwood Brotherhood
Powerful, musky odors. She complains that they burn her nose and make her eyes sting.
Other:
Just before she left the pack, Chewy was about to start lessons in proper fighting. Since these plans were interupted, she really wants to find someone willing to teach her in her father's stead.
She has a surprisingly deep voice that is raspy from her vomiting issues. This can lead to her gender being mistaken on occasion if someone hears her without seeing or smelling her first.
